Removal Instructions
The Yugo 59/66 SKS used in this "How To" guide is a California Legal SKS, with the grenade launcher replaced with a muzzle brake. So I thought it was kind of pointless to also have a grenade sight installed. I have received quite a few emails asking me how to remove it, so I decided to remove it from one of my Yugo 59/66 SKS and leave the other one intact. This is only one way you can remove the grenade sight, you can also drill out the pin. Although I think this is a cleaner method, leaving the rifle looking good after the procedure.

It is flattened at each end - sort of like a rivet and permanently affixed to the barrel/sight assembly. Thus using a punch and hammer will have little to no effect in removal.
