This is an excellent read. Very straight forward view of history! Learn mostly anything you need to know about your Mosin-Nagant rifle or carbine, at least what you need to know to be a junior enlisted infantryman in the Soviet Union standing guard over "Rodina" (can you tell I have read too many Tom Clancy novels?). The manual (written at the height of the cold war) is organized by construction, use, maintenance, and care of rifle.
