Scott A. Duff's "The M1 Garand: Owners Guide"
Scott Duff's The M1 Garand: OWNERS MANUAL

Written specifically for the M1 rifleman. "New owners often have questions about their recent acquisition. Most common among them are: Who made my rifle and when?, How do I take it apart and put it back together?, How do I clean, lubricate, and maintain it?" This book will answer those questions.

Arguably the best overall book on the M1 Garand. When I got my first M1, this is the book I purchased. I have purchased many others since, but always return to Scott Duff's OWNER's MANUAL for all of the basics. Hundreds of Step by Step diagrams and photos. Because of Scott's book - I now know when my Garands were manufactured, how to dissemble and reassemble the rifle down to the most granular detail, where to get service, etc. If you own an M1 - you need to own this book! You can purchase it online at Scott's web site - http://www.scott-duff.com/DuffBooks.htm
