8x22mm Nambu


Introduced in 1904 for the Nambu auto pistol and was the official Japanese pistol cartridge during WW II. The 8x22mm Nambu ammunition used a bottle-necked case with 102 grain jacketed bullet. In terms of energy this round is far inferior to other pistol cartridges used by major powers during WW II.
