1) With your hand hold the elevation screw in place.
2) Using either a flat blade screw driver or the Garand multi-function tool loosen the nut on the windage knob.
3) Unscrew the windage knob.
4) Remove the windage knob.
5) Remove the elevation knob.
6) Remove the aperture.
7) Lift up on the sight base and depress the cover spring inward so it can be lifted out.
8) Remove and separate the base and cover spring.
Reassembly Instructions
9) Combine the base and cover spring.
10) Insert the base and cover spring into the reciever.
11) Depress the cover inward so it can be snapped into place.
12) Insert the aperture.
13) Make the aperture is seated all of the way down .
14) Insert the elevation knob assembly so the 200 yard graduation is lined up with the elevation index line on the sight base.
15) Insert the windage knob.
16) Tighten the windage knob.
17) Tighten the windage knob nut.
18) Operate the elevation knob to make sure it functions without binding.
19) Operate the windage knob to make sure it functions without binding.
