Bolt Hold Open: With an empty magazine installed, when you pull back on the bolt handle the bolt hold open should move upwards and lock the bolt open. This can be manually accomplished by holding the bolt open and pushing the bolt hold open upwards until the bolt catches and is locked in place. When the bolt is open and the bolt hold open is pulled down the bolt will slam forward with great force.

Magazine Release:  If you push the magazine release forward the magazine will be able to be removed.
