Magazine Insertion

The FAL magazine release is located just forward of the trigger guard. "Bolt hold open" is pictured to left of and behind the magazine

The magazine should be inserted while pivoting from the front to back of magazine well.

Note: It is not necessary for the rifle to be upside down as shown in picture this was done fore ease of photographing.

Once the magazine is pivoted back, snap down the magazine in place.

Sights

FAL front sights: a front post protected by sturdy ears on both sides. The front sights can be adjusted for elevation, similar to an AR-15/M-16 front sight post.

The rear aperture is elevation adjustable from 200-600 meters by depressing a button on the left side of the sight and sliding the aperture back and forth.

The rear sight is also windage adjustable by loosening and tightening the screws located on either side just below the sight's dovetail (as shown in both pictures above).

Safety Operation

The lower "E" position is "Fire" and the position shown "S" is "Safe". The safety is designed to allow for easy operation with the right hand's thumb while gripping the pistol grip.
