Reassembly Instructions

11) Rotate the extractor lug on the bolt body and align with bolt handle.

12) Slide extractor over the lug on bolt body.

13) It will slide over a notch in the bolt face and then you can rotate it into the channel near the bolt face.

14) Figure 14 shows the correctly installed extractor.

15) Insert safety lever into bolt sleeve so that the lever is to the right.

16) Slide main spring onto firing pin.

17) Rotate the safety lever to center location and place bolt sleeve onto spring/firing pin.

18) Compress the main spring by pushing down on bolt sleeve and then place cocking sleeve onto firing pin assembly. Use a bolt of wood to protect your wife’s furniture. Rotate the cocking sleeve ¼ turn so that the bottom is aligned as shown.

19) Place firing pin/sleeve into rear of bolt body and screw into the bolt until the sleeve is flush and aligned with bolt body/handle.

20) Using bolt release, slide bolt into rifle.
21) Check operation of safety and bolt. With safety lever in the extreme right position (shown) the bolt AND the trigger are locked. With lever in center location, the trigger is safe, but action may be operated. In extreme left position, the rifle is ready to fire.
